Jack MAFS Australia 2024

Jack admits he felt ‘instant regret’ after his ‘muzzle’ comment to Lauren on MAFS Australia

And secretly apologised to her after the dinner party

Last night on MAFS Australia 2024 Jack asked Jono to “muzzle” Lauren, a comment which sent shockwaves through the entire dinner party. And now, Jack has admitted he felt “instant regret” after his insult.

He explained in an interview: “I was disgusted obviously, at that point in time I was a bit of a broken man and everyone has breaking point. To Lauren’s credit she kept on baiting and she got me there. The integrity of mine and Tori’s relationship was being questioned and I had to stand up to that,” Jack explained.

However, Jack said he wished he’d done things a little differently in his response to Lauren. “The first thought I had was, ‘What are my parents gonna think? What are my sisters gonna think?’ I was pretty ashamed,” Jack admitted. Jack then revealed that he and Lauren soon forgave each other and the two MAFS Australia 2024 cast members “hugged it out.”

He said: “I did walk back into the Dinner Party and apologised to Lauren. I said to her, ‘I’m happy to go to battle with you, you’re a big player here so happy to do battle and I apologise for that comment. Lauren accepted my apology and we hugged it out.”

Jack still believes his joke was taken out of context, explaining: “It was a joke I made to Tim while at the gym and Jono heard it. “It was funny to Tim because Tim, Tori and I had a bit of an inside joke that Tori thought [Tim] was a bit of a looker and so we’d made jokes about couple swapping before. It was said in our own safe space among friends.”
