Ollie Skelton reveals producers want to get rid of Tristan and Cassandra on MAFS Australia

MAFS Australia 2024 couple Tristan and Cassandra aren’t looking in a great place in their relationship, especially after last night’s episode when expert John Aitken had to step in to give them both some points. Cracks started to show in their relationship when Cassandra said she was “bored” with Tristan and he slept on the sofa the following night.

And now MAFS Australia alumni Ollie Skelton has revealed that the 2024 producers might be trying to break their relationship up as they felt they were bas characters. He explained on Yahoo’s Behind The Edit: “If the characters are bad, and the relationship is good, they’re going to try and find a way to break that thing up.” He explained it was Collins who told him that producers wanted Tristan and Cassandra gone from MAFS Australia 2024.

He continued: “I’ve heard things with Cassandra and Tristan, from Collins, that they were told by producers to wrap it up, like break it up or whatever,” before backtracking and clarifying “I don’t know that! I’m not 100per cent sure on that.”

Ollie also said that MAFS cast members were warned by producers about not reaching out to former cast members for advice before starting on the show. He explained: “TheMAFS higher-ups would tell you not to do that, they specifically say ‘don’t be friends with the ex-cast.’

“I specifically remember two things: don’t be friends with the press and don’t be friends with the ex-cast. I think in retrospect, they don’t want anyone with experience who has done the show or reported on the show, to say ‘hey don’t do this’ or ‘hey do this’.”
