The trial concluded today. However, here are some of the key moments from the Stephen Bear and Georgia Harrison revenge porn trial. Including Georgia Harrison’s evidence, Stephen Bear telling police officers he could have a “mad twin brother” when asked if it was him in the video and both of their statements.

The first arrival at court and the pink suit

Stephen Bear arrived at court on Tuesday dressed in a pink suit and black fur coat. He got out of a white Rolls Royce alongside his girlfriend who wore matching pink. He’s also arrived to court on every other day wearing a different coloured suit and even using a gold cane.

Georgia Harrison’s emotional evidence

When giving evidence, Georgia Harrison said Stephen Bear has “hung her on a wall naked for millions of people to see.” She gave evidence on Tuesday and Wednesday, revealing her and Stephen Bear’s relationship was “casual but intense” during the filming of The Challenge. She claimed Stephen Bear had told her he “loved her” but the pair fell out when he slept with another person.

Georgia Harrison became tearful when recounting when she found out the video of them having sex was being shared. At the time of discovering Stephen Bear had allegedly shared the video on WhatsApp, Georgia Harrison said: “He said he loved me and would never do this to me and at the time he had a promising career in TV and I believed him. But looking back I was an absolute idiot.”

Georgia branded Stephen Bear as “brazen” for allegedly putting up his OnlyFans subscription prices while she “didn’t want to leave her room.” When pressed on whether she knew it was Stephen Bear who uploaded the video, she said: “I can’t explain the shame I felt, I didn’t want to leave my room.”

She continued: “Instead of apologising he put his subscription price up from $20 to $50.” She later added: ā€œHe deserves some consequences for his disgusting actions. He hung me up on a wall naked for millions of people to see, and I donā€™t want any other woman to go through the same thing. Thatā€™s why Iā€™m on the stand today. He deserves the consequences and that is it. Thatā€™s the bottom line.”

This is how Stephen Bear was arrested by police

During the prosecution case, statements were read out by the police officer who arrested Stephen Bear at Heathrow Airport, and then the officer in the case went through the transcripts of Stephen Bear’s two police interviews before he was charged. The arresting police officer from Essex Police joined officers from the Met on the runway to wait for the plane at 5:45am that morning.

The officer said the plane crew told Stephen Bear he could exit the plane first as officers were waiting for him, but he “could use the toilet.” In a statement read out by Jacqueline Carey KC, prosecuting, the officer said: “After five minutes he exited the plane. Officers asked him ā€˜where is your phoneā€™- and Bear said ā€˜in my suitcaseā€™. He was cautioned and he replied ā€˜itā€™s my birthday man’.”

The officer said Stephen Bear was searched and handcuffed and then taken to the baggage area where they were to wait for his suitcase. The officer said Stephen Bear had commented: “Someone has hacked my Instagram” but when he asked to sign a form confirming he said this, he declined.

The officer said Stephen Bear was “very uncooperative” in helping locate his suitcase. He continued: “As they waited for his suitcase he was asked what his bag looked like,” he responded “I can’t remember” so the police had to search all the bags.

Stephen Bear revealed in his police interview he was “devastated” when accused of uploading the video by Georgia Harrison. He said: “When I sobered up, a bit devastated really. Everything I could be, that is not one of them. I can’t quite remember, I think I said ‘what are you doing, stop being stupid’, something like that I said. I feel suicidal when I think of what she’s said about me.”

Stephen Bear told officers he as going to “speak to someone” about his mental health and claimed it was “fucked.” He also refused to say to police if he had or hadn’t uploaded the video to OnlyFans. The officer asked: “When did you realise your OnlyFans had been hacked?” Bear answered no comment and the officer said: “If it’s the case that someone has hacked you, it could help you. Did you know any details about how you could have been hacked?” Bear answered no comment again.

He later told officers: “I’m going to lose my house because of this. That’s a problem. The world has gone mad.” The officer asked the question again of whether Stephen Bear posted the video to Instagram saying it looks like him in the video. Bear responded: “I could have a mad twin brother.”

Stephen Bear’s evidence in court

Stephen Bear told the jury in his evidence on Thursday that he thought the CCTV recording him and Georgia Harrison was “funny” and that they “had a laugh about it.” He said he started having sex with Georgia in his garden after she told him he looked like a “fit Paul Daniels” as he was doing card tricks with his top off.

The court heard around three weeks before he set up his OnlyFans page Stephen Bear was Ā£12,000 in his overdraft. Up until its deactivation on 8th December, Stephen Bear made just under Ā£40,000 from his OnlyFans account – with around Ā£2,000 relating to the alleged sex tape with Georgia Harrison. Stephen Bear told the court: “You would think it’s funny, you know what I mean. She laughed. We played it on the monitor screen. We watched it back and then she asked for a copy of it. Straight away of course I said I will send you a copy. Straight away she told me to delete the footage. Straight away no questions asked I deleted it. Why would I want that on my phone? We had sex in the sub bed shop and there is CCTV in the sun bed shop.”

Stephen Bear said: “My intention was to catch up with a friend – sex was a bonus. To be filmed is quite funny.”

Stephen Bear admitted he got ‘Ā£40,000’ from OnlyFans content

During the cross-examination, Bear admitted he got paid “Ā£40,000” from the OnlyFans content he made. He also told the jury he was following several women on the sexually-explicit site because he had slept with them.

Bear told the court he had sex with one woman, looking around the room as if waiting for a reaction. Prosecuting barrister, Jacqueline Carrey, responded by saying: “Are you using this as an opportunity to tell everyone how many people you’ve had sex with?”

Stephen Bear was repeatedly insolent in his response to Ms Carey, telling her: “You’d better move on as you’re starting to look a bit silly.” He also swore using the “fuck” word at least five times during his course of giving evidence.

Georgia Harrison speaks out following Bear’s guilty verdict

In a statement, she said: ā€œThe only way to describe how I am feeling now is relieved. The last two years have been absolute hell and this verdict will allow me to start to put the pain I have suffered in the past and start embracing the future. Bearā€™s behaviour was completely unacceptable and those who choose to commit such crimes should and will be prosecuted.

ā€œWe are living in a time where so much of our lives and our childrenā€™s lives are spent online and it is so important that individuals are protected in the virtual world just as they are in reality. Social media has given us the egalitarian belief that we are all publishers but what it hasnā€™t done is regulate what we should responsibly publish.

ā€œI hope me taking a stand gives other men and women who have fallen victim to revenge porn the courage to seek justice and most importantly show them that they have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I have felt ashamed, hurt, violated, even broken at times but today I stand here feeling empowered, grateful and a huge sense of unity with all of those who have reached out to support me throughout this ordeal.ā€

She then thanked her lawyer, the Essex Police, the jury and the judge.
