Wednesday has had the biggest debut week for Netflix ever, overtaking Stranger Things season four. Let’s face it, a huge reason behind that is thanks to Jenna Ortega stepping into the shoes of the Addams’ plaited, dead pan icon and absolutely owning the character like she originated it. Jenna Ortega is the hottest property in film right now because, quite frankly, she’s an icon, she’s a legend and she IS the moment. Here’s all the films and TV shows Jenna Ortega has starred in that you need on your watchlist stat.

Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)

Baby Jenna! Jenna Ortega solidified her future scream queen status with her cameo at the end of Insidious 2, where she plays a young girl who’s the only one who can see Lin Shaye’s character.

Jane the Virgin (2014-2019)

Jenna Ortega played the young version of Jane on the sitcom from 2014 all the way to its conclusion in 2019, starring in a recurring role.

Stuck in the Middle (2016-2018)

I feel like Jenna Ortega was always destined to have her own Disney Channel show, and she got it playing the lead as Harley Diaz. Queen!

The Fallout (2021)

Jenna Ortega had the first taste of true critical acclaim with her films when she starred in The Fallout in 2021, about the aftermath of a school shooting. It’s amazing, she’s outstanding, go watch it.

Scream (2022)

Erm! Jenna Ortega in the greatest franchise in the history of horror films? I do think! Jenna got to have her Drew Barrymore moment and live to tell the tale in this year’s requel. AND she’s starring in next year’s Scream 6. I’m shaking and quaking.

Studio 666 (2022)

Jenna Ortega continued her 2022 string of horror successes by starring as Skye Willow in the ludicrous Foo Fighters horror film Studio 666. I love that she’s doing huge horror and silly ridiculous ones like this at the same time. Very mother behaviour from her.

X (2022)

In arguably her best film of the year, Jenna Ortega played Lorraine Day in Ty West’s critically acclaimed slasher X in truly iconic company – facing off against a crazed killer with Mia Goth and Brittany Snow.
