Antigoni is being accused of slut-shaming Ekin-Su in unearthed Instagram video

Former Love Island contestant Antigoni Buxton has been accused by users on social media of slut-shaming Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu in an unearthed video.

The video is believed to have been posted on Antigoni’s Instagram Story after the Casa Amor episodes of Love Island were aired and it is now being shared on Twitter. In the video Antigoni questions Ekin-Su’s behaviour in Casa Amor.

Speaking to camera, she says: “Ekin-Su said that Davide failed his test but I wonder if she’ll tell him that she was taking secret exams with one of the Casa Amor boys?”

The moment it appears Antigoni is referring to is when Ekin-Su and Davide reunited after Casa Amor only for Ekin-Su to discover he had been getting to know Casa Amor contestant Mollie and kissed her. She confronted him and thought he had failed his “test” to stay loyal. However, Ekin-Su was seen to also be getting to know new boy George in Casa Amor but didn’t share this with Davide.

The video of Antigoni talking about this moment has been reshared on Twitter and now people are accusing her of slut-shaming Ekin-Su.

One user said: “Slut shaming a woman when she’s not there to defend herself is not a disagreement? And her going for Ekin in the villa was baseless, Antigoni was literally saying she wants Jay the day before like why are you mad? It wasn’t a disagreement it was one sided beef from Antigoni’s side.”

And another called her a “slut shaming bully”.

In a statement made to The Tab, Antigoni said she would never slut-shame a woman and wishes all the best for Davide and Ekin-Su.

She said: “I would never slut shame another woman. That video clip was taken out of context from an ‘episode review’ I did where I spoke about everything that happened in that episode, in a jokey tongue & cheek way. I don’t say anything ‘slut shamey’ or derogatory towards Ekin and genuinely want the best for her and Davide.”

Earlier this week it was reported by The Sun Antigoni and Ekin-Su are in a secret feud after Ekin-Su liked a cryptic comment.

Following his Love Island win Davide shared a photo of himself with his friends and captioned it “Celebrating with my team last night. A special thank you to my guys for looking after everything when I was in the villa.”

Ekin-Su commented on the post: “My boys 😍,” and an Instagram user replied to her comment saying she should stay away from Antigoni.

They said: “@ekinsuofficial don’t associate with Antigoni she’s been giving salty interviews about you everywhere!”

Ekin-Su’s account was seen to have liked the comment, however the post has now been deleted.
