Charli XCX performed a concert in the Upside Down from Stranger Things and it went off

Charli XCX is just too fucking cool. Do you know what else is too fucking cool? Stranger Things. Whack them together in a big melting pot of pop culture goodness and what do you get? A coolness overload. An explosion of cool. Something too cool for my silly little mind to comprehend. Charli XCX performed in the actual Upside Down from Stranger Things and it was as iconic as it sounds, to be quite honest with you. I have decided that Vecna himself booked her because he thinks Crash is album of the year.

Charli’s songs were done as part of Dorito’s hosting a Live from the Upside Down concert, that streamed on 23rd June. The whole show is themed around a tour bus that went missing on the way to a music festival in 1986 and the festival then becoming the greatest festival that never happened. The streamed event had music from The Go-Gos, Corey Hart and SOFT CELL. Charli actually duetted with Marc Almond of Soft Cell on Tainted Love, AKA the greatest song of all time.

Talking about what it was like to do the concert in the Upside Down, Charli said “It’s one thing to be able to share my music with my fans but having the opportunity to perform alongside some of the most iconic bands and singers is truly something out of this world.” I need her to get Vecna and The Mind Flayer on her next record IMMEDIATELY.
