Here is everything we know about the new Pretty Little Liars series Original Sin

The hooded figure ‘A’ will be back on our screens next month as Pretty Little Liars is making a comeback! A limited spin off series which will be set in the PLL universe and will follow a brand new group of liars who are in danger and once again are being followed around by an unknown stalker, watching their every move. The show is a sequel to the original series and the trailer looks INSANE. This is everything we know about the new Pretty Little Liars show, Original Sin:

So, what is it about?

Original Sin takes place in a town called Millwood and will follow a new group of teenagers, who are being tormented by our favourite villain, ‘A’.

The synopsis reads: “Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in present day, a disparate group of teen girls – a brand-new set of Little Liars find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago… as well as their own. In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama Original Sin, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe – in a brand new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.”

When is it out?

The show is set to premiere on HBO next month on July 28th and episodes will drop in three instalments over July and August. Filming began in August of last year and wrapped on May 2nd, 2022.

Will any of the old PLL girls be in the show?

Sadly, no. Although taking place in the same universe as Rosewood, Alison, Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Emily will not be making a comeback on the show. I. Marlene King will no longer showrunner on Original Sin either. Riverdale creator and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina producer, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will be the showrunner of the new spin off series.

Who are the new Pretty Little Liars?

In July 2021, the cast for the show was announced. The main cast and our new liars will star Bailee Madison as Imogen, Chandler Kinney as Tabby, Zaria Simone as Faran, Malia Pyles as Minnie and Maia Reficco as Noa. The show will also star Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson and Alex Aiono.
