‘I wasn’t in a pranking mood’: Amber Heard says she didn’t use Johnny Depp’s bed as a toilet

Her ex-husband’s dog allegedly had bowel problems

Live: This is a developing story and is being continuously updated.

Amber Heard has denied defecating on Johnny Depp’s bed while they were married.

The Aquaman actress finished giving her testimony yesterday (16th May), amid the defamation trial involving herself and her ex-husband. Before moving on to cross-examination (questioning by Depp’s legal team), Heard spoke openly about the accusations against her.

Johnny Depp alleged Amber Heard and one of her friends “pranked” him by pooing in his bed after her 30th birthday. The claims led to a social media-wide backlash, in which Heard was renamed “Amber Turd” and the hashtag #MePoo was created. Now, Heard has said she wouldn’t have done such a thing, and she found the allegation “disgusting.”

“I had just been attacked on my 30th birthday by my violent husband, with whom I was desperately in love and knew I needed to leave,” she told the court. “I was not in a pranking mood. My life was falling apart.”

As well as stating she didn’t think the claim was “funny,” Heard alleged their dog, Boo, could’ve been to blame.

“(Boo) had eaten Johnny’s weed when she was a puppy and had bowel control issues for her entire life, among some other issues. We regularly had to take her to the vet to try to figure out what was wrong with this dog.”

After the incident, Heard stated her ex-husband wanted to get the droppings tested. “I thought it was just a delusion he was having… I couldn’t believe he wanted to talk about faeces,” she said.

According to Heard, the incident led to Depp being violent towards her: “I don’t know if he was intending to hit me in the face, or if he was just trying to grab my face, but he was making this gesture around my face to expose my face to him, and he was like, ‘Yeah, let me see how bad I hurt you. Let me see it… What if I pull your hair back?’ And he yanks my hair back,” she said.
