Penn Badgley has been spotted as Joe Goldberg filming for the fourth season of Netflix show YOU on the campus of Royal Holloway University. Videos have been posted all over TikTok of the actor on the uni grounds, and let’s just say, the students have been going mad for it.

At the end of season three we saw Joe head off to Paris, but that doesn’t last long because now he is bringing his murdering ways to the UK and the streets of London are not safe. Filming for the new episodes it taking place right now, with Penn Badgley being spotted at Royal Holloway, University of London, in Egham in the last week.

One TikTok has been viewed over 14million times and shows Penn carrying a coffee and clearly walking over the grass through the campus. It’s captioned “arrived to campus today and they were filming YOU season four.” Another video has nearly 750k views and says “POV: YOU season four is being filmed at your uni.”

In both videos Penn is dressed in a beige suite and looks a bit like he could be a lecturer, which has people in the comments section wondering if that’s where his London adventures will take him. He can be seen walking the grounds of the Founder’s Building as the camera crews with loads of filming equipment follow him. Other students at Royal Holloway filmed themselves as they say Penn Badgley waved at them from their uni bedrooms.

Royal Holloway’s distinctive Founder’s Building and stunning grounds have been popular location in the production of a range of TV shows and film, including: Great British Railway Journeys, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Stargazing Live (BBC), Cheat (ITV), Downton Abbey, Celebrity Masterchef, Midsomer Murders, Antiques Roadshow and most recently The Split, series two. Judwaa 2 was one of the most recent large productions to take place there.
