Zoe Lavender is currently the new TikTok editor for The Lancaster Tab. She is looking forward to creating Lancaster themed content, utilising current trends and memes. Zoe also writes fun, light-hearted articles and student news.
Zoe enjoys observing the social media landscape on pop culture. Additionally, she enjoys engaging with digital journalism on celebrity culture and global climate change affairs.
In her spare time, Zoe likes to read, with her particular favourites being gothic literature and romance. She loves to dance and listen to pop music, with a passion for female popstars. She also has an interest in art, particularly enjoying photography and sketching.

Experience

Zoe joined the The Tab in November 2025. She quickly became the TikTok Editor of the Lancaster Tab in May 2026 and is looking forward to creating fun videos for the Lancaster Tab. She has enjoyed contributing a range of ideas to weekly meetings as well as writing light-hearted pieces for Lancaster students.

Education

Zoe Lavender is currently in her first year at Lancaster University studying Media and Culture. She is particularly interested in social media and digital journalism.
