Hackers release GTA 6 gameplay footage, and they’re threatening to share even more
They have three big demands from Rockstar
Huge leaks for the upcoming new GTA game, GTA 6, just dropped last night, and the hackers are threatening to release even more.
One of the most anticipated games of all time, GTA 6, is finally getting a release later this year. It’ll be all yours in November, but some hackers are trying to get the gameplay out even before that, whether Rockstar like it or not.

Last night, two clips of unreleased gameplay footage leaked online. In one clip, we see Jason playing basketball, and in another there’s a car crash and police chase. The leak also exposed the map of the new game, but it seems to be an earlier version rather than a fully fleshed-out game.
The clips are getting taken down as quickly as they’re being uploaded, but the hackers, a group called Cyberleak, are threatening to release even more footage of the game.

The hackers have strict, specific demands of Rockstar, who they are now blackmailing. In their public statement, the key issue seems to be the lack of a physical release for the upcoming game. They’re making three main demands:
- “No consumer shall have to pay for a game through digital stores before its launch and before independent reviews exist. Physical pre-orders of tangible media will continue to be permitted.”
- “No publisher shall sell access to content for a player that is already present in the files of the base game that the consumer has purchased.”
- “Any game that includes content for a player must include an offline alternative state. When server support ends, the publisher must release a final patch that unlocks all single-player content for local and indefinite use.”
Rockstar has not publicly responded to this statement, despite Cyberleaks’ demand that the studio apologise. The hackers haven’t given a timeline for when they plan to release any more leaks, but GTA fans are ready.
