‘Peter Pan girl’ has now spoken to the man himself, so here’s what he said about her obsession

She returned to Disney World after weeks

Amidst the drama surrounding the viral “Peter Pan girl”, the one person we haven’t heard from is Peter Pan himself.

The Lost Boy is obviously a fictional character, but it’s important to remember that there’s a very real person behind the facade. Strict Disney rules prevent the actors from commenting on such things, but former employees have shared their two cents on apps like TikTok

“Now, this person was not a child. This person was easily in her late 20s, early 30s, and would come to my line time and time again asking disturbing questions,” one actor earlier said, detailing how the questions were referencing themes of sexual assault (SA) and sexual harassment (SH).

Over the course of 10 years, “Peter Pan girl” Toni has interacted with quite a few actors, and though she can’t speak to the opinions of most, she did talk with one at Disney World after the viral saga.

The ‘Peter Pan girl’ returned to Disney World recently

With people ripping her apart across the internet, with some even AI-generating pictures to make her obsession look even worse, Toni Kulusich did not feel comfortable returning to the park she’s been visiting every week for 10 years.

“I’ve been asking myself: Why do I go meet him? Why do I go out of my way to try and find him? Why do I want to go and meet Disney characters and have these interactions with them?” she told Wired in a new interview.

After a few weeks, and with support from her husband – a fellow Disney adult – and her friends, Toni managed to strike up the courage to return. Though there were a few looks, and some took pictures of her, she was largely left alone.

Initially, she didn’t go to Fantasyland to see Peter Pan over fears of “making it worse”, but when she did, he had words of support for her.

“He told me ‘never to stop visiting Neverland,’” he reportedly said. “Which is honestly exactly what I needed to hear that day.”
