‘It’ll make him spiral’: The sad thing Perez Hilton’s family are keeping from him in hospital
He could be in the hospital for months
Perez Hilton is still in the hospital after his self-harm livestream, and though family surrounds him, his loved ones have admitted to lying to him.
In an interview in the Daily Mail, anonymous family sources revealed the lack of support for Perez Hilton from famous friends. Despite brushing shoulders with A-listers for decades, he’s recieved no cards, no flowers, and no messages of support. In fact, they’ve told him, “Your friends are all in your corner” when that’s really not the case.
“All the ones he wanted to reach out, all the celebrities who he has mended fences with, all the ones who said he’s their friend. None of them are doing anything,” they said. “He’s about to find out who his real friends are.”
They don’t know how to tell him because “he’ll be crushed”, questioning: “People who have told him they love him, but where are they?”
But there’s also another lie they’re telling him, and it just makes the story more tragic.

Almost immediately after Perez Hilton’s now-viral livestream, comments about “karma” began emerging online. People refused to show the slightest bit of compassion.
In a moment some considered nuanced and others not so much, Alec Baldwin’s daughter, Ireland, reacted to the news. Perez had “humiliated” her family for years on his blog.
“Perez Hilton has publicly [sic] humiliated my family for years, s*xualized me from a young age, commented on my weight and body (as a child), made unforgivable comments about people in my family, drew j*zz coming out of my mom’s and friend’s mouths, and has always been a despicable human being,” she said, adding in another line, “But his children deserve better and a healthy father and I am so sad for all of them. I hope he gets the help he needs and heals.”

The comments created lots of division online, and now people close to Perez have slammed Ireland and questioned why she needed her “pound of flesh”.
“Like Ireland saying he was a piece of s**t, why? Why make a dig? Why go there if you want to say something, do you need to get your pound of flesh?” they said.
This is another thing that they’re keeping from Perez, explaining: “Those are the ones that we don’t want him seeing, we don’t need him to see people saying things like that, it’ll just make him spiral.”
Amidst his recovery and treatment journey, it makes a lot of sense.
