The cast of Ned’s Declassified speak out after co-star Tylor Chase is found homeless
‘I feel powerless’
In September, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide actor Tylor Chase went viral after people found out he’s currently homeless. During their latest podcast episodes, Devon Werkheiser, Lindsey Shaw, and Daniel Curtis Lee addressed the situation and their plans to help Tylor.
Tylor Chase played Martin Qwerly, a regular side character in Ned’s Declassified, from 2004 to 2007. Devon, who played Ned, Lindsey, who played Ned’s love interest Moze, and Daniel, who played Cookie, host a podcast together where they talk about their lives during and after the show.

They first acknowledged the viral video where Tylor was revealed as homeless in an episode released on the 24th of September.
“It was a lot to process for me,” said Daniel.
“When I first saw it, I was angry, because I was like why put a camera in someone’s face when they are on hard times?”
He explained that no one in the cast has been in contact with Tylor for a long time, but still referred to him as his “dear friend”.
“I feel powerless, I feel like there’s not much I can do,” Daniel added.
Lindsey, who also played a returning character in Pretty Little Liars, has been very open about her past struggles with drug addiction. As the trio talked about how hard it is to help people in a vulnerable place, Lindsey said she wanted to go see Tylor with Daniel as soon as possible.

“I’ve been somebody like that,” she said.
At the end of the most recent podcast episode, Tylor’s situation was brought up again.

“I saw the girl who kinda started the whole Tylor Chase thing, they got him like, kinda showered and gave him some clothes,” Devon said.
“She seems like a good person out there just trying to offer help to a lost soul.”
LetHallAlli, the influencer they’re talking about, set up a GoFundMe to help support Tylor. But after his mum reached out to her and explained his issues handling money, she shut it down.
“I saw that she posted messages from his mom basically explaining what we had kind of guessed, the mom was saying money isn’t what he needs and it rarely is,” Daniel said.
“It’s beautiful and not everybody gets a chance to have like, you know, an angel kind of show up on your path and try and help you out.”
Daniel and Devon promised to help get their old friend back on his feet however they can, but they made it clear he won’t be joining the podcast anytime soon.
“Yeah, we’re all hoping we can get Tylor on a better path, we’ll see what we can do here” Daniel said. “But he’s not coming on the podcast.”
Devon added: “That’s not at all what needs to happen here. There’s a lot more that needs to happen before that.”
