The Love Islanders keep hiding this one strange item that’s ‘like gold dust’ in the villa

They’re ‘stashing them away’

Dumped Islanders Harrison and Lauren have revealed the boys and girls are getting up to no good in the Love Island villa and hiding one bizarre item, so that nobody else can have it.

The item in question is a waffle. Yes, a waffle. Apparently they’re the best snacks in the villa this year, but the Islanders aren’t given many of them, so people are hoarding them before anyone else gets a look in.

Speaking to Closer Online about the food in the villa, Harrison said: “The snacks were good. There was some waffles in there, they used to put in like 10 a day and they would disappear within about five minutes. People would either eat them or stash them away and hide them. I don’t know who was hiding them.”

“The waffles were like gold dust in there, honestly, so if you ever got to the cupboard and they were still there, you’d have to eat them or stash them away somewhere,” he explained.

Wow, they really must be bored in there to be hoarding waffles. Apparently, the meals in there get really repetitive though, so it makes sense that they’d scavenge for the good snacks.

“I actually liked the food, honestly. Unpopular opinion. It was just that we had similar things most days,” Harrison said. “The food in itself was really nice, but obviously I was in there for four and a half weeks, so it’s like, how many different things can you serve?”

Lauren agreed: “I think food was nice, but obviously it just gets very repetitive. You’re having the same thing most days, but it’s hard to cater for that many people. There was like 20 of us at one point, so it’s like what else can you really do?”

Before she went back into the villa, Megan revealed they have chicken and chips every day for lunch and a roast dinner on Sundays.
