With graduation season upon us, it’s time to don the infamous cap and gown, but not before coughing up for the privilege first. After all, we’ve only paid for a degree already.

Whilst Russell Group universities are known for their traditional graduations often taking place in fancy halls, the cost of this prestigious event varies between each uni.

So to determine which uni ranks on top for the the most expensive graduation in 2025, we compared each Russell Group uni’s costs.

For this, The Tab looked at Bachelor of Arts’ gown hire, the cost of a graduate ticket, and the cost of two guest tickets.
