People spotted a stupid error in Squid Game season three’s final scene, and it’s so bad
I don’t know how that made it in
Squid Game season three has only been out for a few days, and eagle-eyed viewers have already spotted a stupid error in the last episode.
The final installment dropped on Netflix on Friday and follows Gi-hun and the other players as they try and get through the next three deadly games.
In the end scene, the Front Man goes to Los Angeles and spots an American recruiter, played by Cate Blanchett, playing a game of Ddakji.
This sets up nicely for a potential US spin-off, which is reportedly in the works, where a new Squid Game will seemingly be set up after the Korean one was blown up.
While they are playing the red and blue card game, people have noticed that the same two people walk down the street twice in the foreground.
First, a guy wearing a blue top, beige trousers and a backpack walks down the street. Then, a woman in a blue top and jeans walks in the other direction.
A little while later, the exact same two people walk down the street again in the same direction. Did they really think nobody would notice? Take a look at the silly error:

The production budget for season three was reportedly ₩100 billion (South Korean won), which is almost £54 million, and they couldn’t be bothered to hire another extra?!
People think it’s ludicrous on TikTok, with one person writing: “All the budget was spent on Cate Blanchett.”
“So you’re telling me it’s that expensive to hire someone to just walk across the screen?” said another.
A third person added: “They’ve already used all the money on the cgi baby and dog, those were the ppl of post-production doing extra work.”

“They are doing their usual laps around the block. The first guy is on his 13th lap, second guy is on his 7th,” someone else joked.
It’s only a silly error, and it doesn’t affect the storyline in any way, but nothing gets past Squid Game viewers. Someone really should have picked up on it!
