Meet the London uni graduate who’s now Donald Trump’s son in law

The story of a former student at the University of London who became an integral part of the world’s most well-known family

Michael Boulos is now a prominent member of the Trump family.

The 27-year-old married the current president’s second daughter, Tiffany Trump, in a glitzy 2022 wedding.

However, before he married into the First Family, Michael was actually a student in London like the rest of us.

Michael previously took degrees at Regent’s University London and City, University of London, spending multiple years studying and working in London, later falling in love with the prominent bachelorette.

The now son-in-law of the president comes from a wealthy background. His father, Massad Boulos, is a Lebanese-American businessman and political associate of Donald Trump. Massad is also the CEO of the prominent SCOA Nigeria corporation, of which Michael is “involved in various aspects”.

His brother, a popular musician in Nigeria – where Michael grew up – goes by the pseudonym Oyibo Rebel. He spent time working and training as an actor in London, even once playing minor roles in The Crown and the second Fantastic Beasts film.

In London, Michael studied business-focussed degrees for both his Bachelor’s and Master’s at his respective universities. At Regent’s, he studied global business management, whilst at City, he studied project management, finance, and risk. After graduating, he took up multiple jobs in global finance, such as at Royalton Investment.

In the meantime, his relationship with Tiffany Trump flowered. In 2018, paparazzi caught the two rushing into the ultra-exclusive Mosimann’s, known for its romantic two-person “Montblanc” room, offering privacy once afforded to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their wedding reception.

By the end of the year, Michael was successfully introduced and approved by the Trump clan. Shortly after he was seen at the president’s State of the Union address to Congress.

He secured his place within the dynasty with a $1.2 million engagement ring, given to Tiffany in the very last days of Trump’s first term.

More recently, he attended the second inauguration of his father-in-law, dancing with a now pregnant Tiffany at the illustrious inaugural ball.
