High Fliers has released its annual report on the graduate market. The report looks graduate vacancies and the starting salaries at top employers.

This report found that graduates from the University of Birmingham were the third most sought after by employers. Only being over taken by graduates from Manchester and Nottingham.

High Fliers made the list of the top companies based on the The Times list of ‘Top 100 Graduate Employers’. The list includes many of the most competitive graduate jobs and includes businesses such as JP Morgan, PwC and Apple.

The job market is still extremely competitive as the report shows that the top employers averaged 39 applicants per position, but it is reassuring to know that employers want graduates from the University of Birmingham.

The report also shows that the top firms took on 3,500 more graduates than was expected.
