These are the university cities where students spend the most on a night out
On average, students spend over £25 on a night out
University students in the UK spend an average of £26.50 on a night out, according to new data from the NatWest Student Living Index.
Students in Liverpool spent the most in the academic year 2020-21, averaging £34.40 for every night out.
They were shortly followed by those in Glasgow (£30.80) and Birmingham (£30.50).
At the other end of the spectrum were students in Durham. On average, they spent £20.60 on a night out.

The survey also revealed that students in Liverpool spend the most on booze every month– around £73.80. That’s 50 per cent more than the average UK student.
Meanwhile students at university in London rely the most on the bank of mum and dad.
On average, they receive £629.50 from their parents every month.
