This video of Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn crying is the content you need to see today

A fan thanked him after staff ‘rushed’ his meet and greet and ‘treated him like a child’

Stranger Things four gave us Eddie Munson and for that reason alone we will be forever grateful. Though we only had Eddie for one season, we have the actor who plays him, Joseph Quinn, for the rest of our lives. Joseph quickly became a fan favourite on the show which became even more obvious after seeing floods of people waiting to meet him at various summer conventions which have already happened. On Saturday it was reported by Buzzfeed that Joseph was oversold by 400 tickets at London Film and Comic Con. Apparently Joseph was yelled at by the staff for “taking too long” with the fans who paid to see him.

Meet-and-greet opportunities ranged from £45 to £125 and Joseph was clearly very keen to make sure everyone got their money’s worth. Speaking of the incident on Saturday, the MailOnline reported an eyewitness claimed staff were treating Joseph “like a child” and reportedly “rushed” his meet and greet.

One person who attended the convention at the weekend spoke on behalf of everyone and thanked Joseph for his time. The clip has since gone viral and if you watch one thing today then watch this wholesome video because seeing him cry is so emotional.

The person speaking to Joseph said: “Mine’s not really a question, it’s more of an extension of gratitude, really. I’m sure a lot of us have heard what happened yesterday – whether it’s true or not – about how you were treated. I won’t comment on it. But I just wanted to say thank you from all of us, we’re really grateful that you’re sharing your time.” The crowd then clapped for Joseph Quinn as he looked very emotional and started crying. Our sweet boy!!

The person continued: “Thank you for signing our things, for spending your time with us and making our summer. I think that we’ve all really connected with Eddie, for one reason or another – whether we liked his music taste, or that he’s an outsider like you mentioned. I think all of us are part Eddie. We’re travelled far because we all really connect with you as well, and you’ve really made our weekend. You’ve really made mine as well, you were so nice to me and my guide dog yesterday. However you were treated yesterday, we are so grateful – thank you.”

Joseph Quinn was literally wiping his tears off his face and covering his eyes whilst crying. He replied: “Aw, why did you do that? Thank you for your kind words, thank you.” Sorry, I am sobbing.
