This TikToker just explained exactly how the Creator Fund works

And she is making bank

A TikToker has revealed exactly how the TikTok Creator Fund works and how much money you can make just by posting, and honestly I’m ready to quit my job and become a full time TikToker.

Eli Rallo aka The Jarr on TikTok has over 500,000 followers on the app and regularly posts TikToks about her life, her thoughts on musical theatre, fashion, mental health and her iconic lists of rules.

Last week she shared a TikTok in which she explained in detail how creators make money through the Creator Fund. She shared exactly how much they can make per video and how she managed to pay her month’s rent using the money she made from the fund.

The TikTok Creator Fund was set up last year as a way to show the brand’s appreciation for their creators. It allows creators to earn money from their TikTok views and in order to apply for the programme you need to have at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 views across your videos in the last month.

Eli is blue tick official and has over 500,000 followers on the app. She’s been using the Creator Fund for a year, so she’s pretty much an expert in it.

In her TikTok she addressed people’s concerns that the fund can limit your views. She said: “A lot of people think the Creator Fund stifles views because it’s essentially TikTok paying you a very small amount per view. It comes out to around $50 per a million views. I have never experienced it effecting my views.”

Eli then went onto show she has made just over $16,000 in one year using the Creator Fund. As part of the TikTok she also shared a screenshot of the daily breakdown of money coming in. This ranged from around $20 to $40 a day. She then pointed out her monthly breakdowns and said one month she ended up using the money for her rent that month.

She said: “It is a breakdown of how much you’ve made every single day and here’s the months. This was my biggest month, nearly $2,000 and it paid my rent and for all the food I ate that month.”

Eli said the key to making major money from the fund is to continually post TikToks.

She said: “I’m a shit poster, I post a lot. Obviously the more you post the more money you’re going to make. Opposed to one one million view video a week you’re gonna walk away with $300 at the end of the month. However if you’re posting everyday you could make this,” at which she points at a screenshot of the $1,077 she has earnt that month.

Her TikTok has since been viewed nearly 250,000 times and users have been commenting asking further questions about the fund.

Eli clarified creators do have to pay tax on the money they receive as part of the fund and you can only withdraw from the fund once a month using PayPal.
