The net worths of the richest Celebrity Traitors cast proves who doesn’t need the prize pot
The traitors really don’t need the prize money
The Celebrity Traitors is absolutely stuffed with famous people. The contestants are vying to win a share of a £100,000 prize pot for charity, but their net worths make these winnings look small. Honestly, the cast should just ask Stephen Fry to donate to their charity instead. That would save them from having to run about in fields with Clare Balding.
The celebs were all paid an appearance fee of £40,000 to go on the show. This is small change for some of the cast. They must really love Claudia Winkleman and castles.
Now, we don’t know exactly how much cash all 19 The Celebrity Traitors contestants have sitting in their bank accounts. But we can roughly guesstimate the net worths of the celebs who have been in showbiz for a while.
So, here are the most loaded cast members of The Celebrity Traitors, ranked by their (estimated) (and approximate) net worths, from the least wealthy up to the absolute richest:
11. Charlotte Church
Once upon a time, she was one of the richest young people in the UK. In 2009, The Times estimated she and her boyfriend at that time, Gavin Henson, had £12 million between them. However, back in April 2025, Charlotte Church told The Sun she was “not a millionaire anymore”. She sold her six-bedroom house for around £2 million in March.

The Sun reported in 2023 that she earned a year from ITV, and had a net worth of £1.5 million. Although, this might not be the case anymore. In 2024, Kate Garraway estimated she had between £500,000 and £800,000 of debts, after paying for her husband Derek’s care.
9. Joe Wilkinson
Well, we don’t know how much money is sitting in his own bank account. But Companies House says The Joe Wilkinson Company had total net assets of £1,634,548 in February 2025.
8. Lucy Beaumont
Her divorce from the comedian Jon Richardson was finalised this summer. So, we now know the couple had £6 million between them, and he had to pay her £1,625,000 as part of the settlement.
7. Clare Balding
Now, various papers have estimated Clare Balding’s net worth at about £1 million. This seems lower than you might have guessed, considering she’s rarely been off the TV over the last two decades. We know the BBC paid her between £205,000 and £209,999 in 2021 to 2022, and between £178,000 and £184,999 in 2022 to 2023. She’s also written 9 books, which are predominately about horses and herself. She made £538,472 in the year to the end of October 2014 from her books and TV gigs, according to The Guardian. I’m guessing she’s not exactly skint.

6. Paloma Faith
Different corners of the internet estimate her net worth in 2025 to be in the realm of £2 million to £4 million. Her 2024 memoir became a Sunday Times Bestseller.
5. Tom Daley
His net worth is thought to be about £4 million in 2025. This mostly comes from years of brand deals. He used to manage his earnings through a company called Rip Ten Limited, which had £3.83 million in cash when it was liquified in 2023. Tom Daley also runs a knitting business called Made With Love by Tom Daley. Love that for him.
4. Joe Marler
According to Mabumbe, he’s build up about $5 million (£3.7 million) from playing rugby, collabing with brands like Under Armour, and owning property in Surrey.
3. Alan Carr

He’s reportedly amassed a fortune upwards of £10 million, thanks to years of performing stand-up comedy and presenting TV shows.
2. Jonathan Ross
His net worth is estimated to be a whopping £30 million in 2025. I’m really not surprised.
1. Stephen Fry
You don’t win any prizes for guessing that Stephen Fry is at the top of the list. His net worth in 2025 is estimated to be upwards of $40 million (£30 million). His money comes from years of acting in films and TV shows, narrating Harry Potter and Paddington audiobooks, and writing books (including no fewer than three autobiographies).
