Expert who met ‘person of interest’ in Amy Bradley’s disappearance believes ‘he’s innocent’
He maintains that he had nothing to do with it
Amy Bradley Is Missing paints the bass player as a person of interest in her disappearance, but an expert who has met Yellow thinks they pointed the finger at the wrong man.
The Netflix docuseries explores the case of the missing woman, who disappeared from the Caribbean cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas when she was just 23 years old.
Alister Douglas, nicknamed Yellow, is heavily mentioned in the documentary because he was the person last seen with her, dancing at the ship’s nightclub.
During a reported sighting in 1998, just a few months after her disappearance, a diver also claimed he saw Amy on a beach with a man who matched Yellow’s description.
Douglas was questioned at the time, but never arrested or charged in connection with Amy’s disappearance. He maintains that he had nothing to do with it.

Investigative journalist and true crime author James Renner went to meet with Douglas and shared an interview with him on YouTube. Yellow is now an exorcist and a reverend at a small church in Grenada.
“I think the documentary certainly did a disservice to the investigation and to what happened to Amy. Because you go online now, and people just assume that he’s guilty,” he told The Sun.
“I found him to be very sincere and candid. If he was involved, there was really no reason for him to grant me an interview. He had nothing to gain from it.”
“But this is an event that he’s had to think about a lot. I think he was looking for an opportunity to tell his side of the story,” Renner continued.

“He admits that, as an officer on the cruise ship, he definitely crossed the line with dancing close with Amy. But he says he didn’t have anything to do with what ultimately happened to her. And I believe him.”
“He’s an active member in his community there. He doesn’t have any other history of violence. He has a beautiful wife and kid on the island, and they were at church with him and were involved there and seemed well-adjusted.”
Ari Mark, the executive producer for Amy Bradley Is Missing, told the US Sun: “I feel awful for the Douglas family and what they’ve had to endure all these years.”
