In a video taken backstage at Back To The Beginning, the final show from Ozzy Osbourne and both a homecoming and a farewell performance, Yungblud visited Ozzy to present him with a moving gift. Previously, Ozzy had given Yungblud one of his distinctive iconic cross necklaces. Yungblud calls it his most treasured possession.
Yungblud says “I’ve made you something. Obviously you gave me your cross, and I wanted to return the favour.” Yungblud presents Ozzy with a new necklace, which was custom made by Yungblud’s friend Tristan. Sharon and Ozzy are extremely moved, with Sharon calling the gift “fucking unbelievable.”
Yungblud shows Ozzy his old necklace and says “I’ve got mine on. I never take mine off that you gave me so I wanted to return the favour”. He then says “Thank you man. For everything. It’s a f*cking honour.” Ozzy is extremely grateful and proud of Yungblud and continues wishing him success in his career.

After the news of Ozzy Osbourne passing away yesterday, Yungblud has shared a moving tribute on Instagram.
“I didn’t think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room. But as it is written with legends, they seem to know the things that we don’t. I will never forget you – you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage.
“Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own. You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough. You took us on your adventure – an adventure that started it all. I am truly heartbroken. You were the greatest of all time.”
