Popular Casa Amor lad ‘doesn’t believe in finding love on TV’ despite signing up to Love Island

Love Island’s Boris Vidovic has already won over the hordes on Twitter thanks to his male-model looks, but Casa Amor was not the first time he’s stepped into the world of reality TV.

Boris entered Casa Amor earlier this week after Emma Munro, Rheo Parnell, Andrada Pop, Yasmin Broom, Lucy Quinn, and Lauren Wood entered on Sunday. He was joined by the other lads, Ty, Chris, Cach, Jamie, and Martin, and like them, he’s been eying up Shakira.

“I’m super attracted to Shakira, I think she’s got a great personality and seems like a good girl,” he said in his pre-show interview. “I’m sure we’d get along well and have a good time together, but I need to see in person, it’s all about energy.”

Shockingly, Love Island isn’t Boris’ first time in the reality TV space, and during that apperence, he argued that finding love on TV is impossible. The math aint mathing here.

Right, so when was Love Island’s Boris first on reality TV?

Long before Boris joined the cast of Love Island season 12, he was a contestant on the Slovenian reality TV show, Kmetija (The Farm) in 2024. Each participant lived and worked on a farm, competing in challenges to earn a cash prize.

Boris signed on to The Farm for “a new experience”, but in his pre-show interview, he detailed how he didn’t think romances could happen properly on reality TV.

“I don’t believe in it. I don’t even think about it,” he told 24UR at the time, adding how he didn’t believe in nudity on-screen.

People who watched The Farm posted about Boris after he was cast in Love Island, with one person writing on Reddit: “I actually watched him, he was super unlikable and in this interview before the show he says that he disapproves nudity in front of cameras + he doesn’t believe in love in a reality show. He also got a lot more new tattoos while in Dubai.”

“I’m embarrassed for my country, sorry guys! I heard he was bragging abot going on LI a while back and I said no waaaaay. Edit: I worked with him on a photoshoot once…not a thought behind those eyes,” another wrote.

Hopefully, Boris makes it through to the main villa and he can prove himself wrong by finding the girl of his dreams.
