The Love Island girls keep getting told off for breaking this number one villa rule

There are all kinds of weird rules they have to follow in the Love Island villa, and the girls keep breaking one important one this year.

Dumped Islander Malisha spoke to Closer Online about her time in Majorca and revealed that the girls keep getting told off for taking off their microphones.

“I feel like a lot of the girls got told off, especially for not wearing their mics,” she said. “So if we’re getting changed or something, sometimes we would forget to put or mics back on.”

“And then we start having a conversation and it’s like ‘Girls, put your mic back on’ and it’s like ugh. Then you have to either leave the conversation or say it again.”

Islanders have to wear their microphones at all times, even when they’re in the toilet. However, they do turn them off while you’re doing your business. Thank god!

In a TikTok video, old Love Island girlie Amy Heart revealed: “They have someone watching and when you go into the toilet, they turn your mic off, but it’s only one person in the toilet at any time.”

“There is a camera in the toilet, but it’s a security camera and it only gets looked at if something happened and they needed it to see how you fell and hit your head or something.”

“So they don’t listen to you weeing or pooing and they don’t watch you either.” I’d be mortified if they did!

The only day that Islanders are allowed to take their microphones off is Saturdays, but they aren’t allowed to chat about anything show-related and the boys and girls are kept separate.
