All the Love Island 2025 cast members who have links to previous Islanders

It would seem the cast of Love Island 2025 should really know the ropes, as loads of them have connections to previous Islanders. ITV has kept its casting circle small.

This year the crop of Islanders know a whole range of people who have been on the show before. Some have dated former cast members, others are besties with winners and loads of them reached out for advice ahead of the villa.

Here are all the Love Island 2025 cast members who have links to previous Islanders. Spoiler: It’s a lot.

Megan

Megan is from Dublin, but lives in Brighton. And there, she met 2024 and All Stars legend, Harriett Blackmore. Megan told The Tab the pair worked together, at Flannels, before they both went into the villa. “We worked together for two years,” Megan explained. “We went to the same uni as well.”

Megan said she caught up with Harriett before the villa, and she gave her advice on what to pack and how to prepare. It seems to be going well!

Conor

Conor should be prepped and ready to go, because he got advice from a former winner before heading to the Love Island 2025 villa. Conor is friends with 2019 Islander, Greg O’Shea. Conor is a 25-year-old rugby player from Limerick. He met winner Greg through rugby, and the boys are quite close. Greg is also a rugby player, and is from Limerick too.

He told The Tab he spoke to Greg ahead of Love Island, and asked him for some advice. “I spoke to him, and the main thing he said was just to be yourself,” Conor said. “He said it’s a really really cool experience, and said I’ll enjoy it.”

He said Greg told him Love Island is an “experience that not many people get” and advised him to “enjoy it and take it day by day.”

Shakira

Shakira has a wild story of her pre Love Island 2025 run-ins with previous Islanders. She said she often goes on nights out in Manchester, which means she will cross paths with Islanders in night club VIP areas all the time. Whilst it might not be a link as such, she did tell The Tab All Stars winner Callum Jones did wink at her one time.

She said she’s also had run-ins with Tom Clare, Jess White, Casey O’Gorman and Adam Maxted. A real name dropper!

Harry

If you’re wondering why Harry knows how to run the villa, it’s because he knows a previous winner too. He is friends with Josh Oyinsan, who won the show alongside Mimii last year. Ahead of the villa, Harry told The Tab they know each other from doing shoots together in the past.

“He was really supportive,” Harry said. “I only know him loosely but he wished me the best.”

Dejon

Dejon has a very historic link, as he and 2023 Islander Tyrique Hyde have been friends since before they were even at school! “Me and Ty are the same age,” Dejon told The Tab. “We’ve been friends since we were babies. My dad and his dad played football together and were best friends.”

Helena

Helena knows Love Island legend, Zara McDermott. Ahead of the villa, Helena explained to The Tab that one of her best friend’s used to be Zara’s manager, and now they’ve struck up a friendship.

“I didn’t actually manage to speak to her before I went in [the villa], because she’s really busy with filming her documentary at the moment,” she said.

Shea

There appears to be a little bit of drama among Shea’s Islander connections. In the past, he appeared to comment and interact on Instagram a lot with 2024 Islander Uma Jammeh, and 2023’s Ella Barnes. But they’ve now unfollowed each other? What’s going on!

Sophie

Sophie only managed a day in the villa, which should be a shock because she literally knows every Islander there’s ever been. Speaking to The Tab ahead of her time in the villa, Sophie said she’s “always been around industry people” so influencing and reality TV life “comes naturally” to her.

It would probably be easier to list the people she *doesn’t* know. But just to attempt a rundown: Sophie previously dated 2023 Islander, Ouzy See. On Instagram, she also has pictures of her hanging out with Ronnie Vint, Demi Jones, Leah Taylor, Lucinda Strafford, Anton Danyluk and many more.
