Sophie spent a huge £1,000 on surgery to be in the Love Island 2025 villa for just one day
This is literally so brutal
Sophie Lee was brutally dumped from Love Island 2025 after just one day, but what makes this even more harsh is that she spent big bucks on cosmetic work to prep for the villa.
Every year the new Islanders are found to have spent heavily on getting work done for the show. Speaking to The Tab ahead of her time in the villa, Sophie said she’s “always been around industry people” so influencing and reality TV life “comes naturally” to her. So, she was definitely one who was going to get herself feeling 100 per cent before the villa.
In a series of TikTok videos, Sophie can be seen visiting CurrentBody Skin The Clinic, in Manchester. “Here’s how we helped Sophie Lee prep her skin before heading into the Love Island villa,” the brand posted. “A personalised treatment plan of filler dissolving and restoration followed by a hydrafacial gave her the ultimate summer glow.”
The Tab has worked out just how much all of this would have cost her. It turns out Sophie spent around £1k on cosmetic work before Love Island 2025, which is pretty brutal seeing as she was only there for a day.

She started with dissolving some existing filler she already had. The doctor explained Sophie was referred to them after “experiencing puffiness” from previous cosmetic work. “Her goal was to restore a more natural and balanced look,” they explained.
There’s no price for filler dissolving listed on the brand’s website, but on average this can cost around £400. Sophie then moved on to getting new treatments done.

She had some dermal lip filler done. On the clinic’s website this is listed as “starting from £220” but the treatment Sophie had was described as the “premium” package, so is more likely worth upwards of £300-£400. This was described as being done to “correct any asymmetry caused by keloid scarring” on Sophie’s face.
Sophie previously worked as a fire breather, and an accident at work left her lucky to be alive, and with scarring on her face. “I was at a charity event and the air con blew the fire back in my face and it hit from my chest to just below my eyes,” she told The Tab. “I’m lucky to be alive.”
She added the burns then escalated into a keloid tumour. “I became an international case study,” she said. “I had to inject liquid nitrogen into the tumour twice and then move on to steroid injections.”
Ahead of the villa, Sophie then went on to have a “detailed skin analysis” to see what condition her skin was in, based on things such as sun exposure and previous treatments. Prices for this start from £50. Then, the last thing she can be seen having done is a hydrafacial, with prices for this starting from £220.
So, it was a pretty big session for a very small time in the villa. But, at least she has a glow that will last her all summer!
