Omg, Sam Thompson is now dating this Love Islander following Zara McDermott split?!

Sam Thompson is now reported to be dating a Love Islander following his split from Zara McDermott. At the start of the year, it was revealed Sam and Zara had broken up after five years together. More recently, it’s been confirmed Zara has moved on with One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson.

Now, it’s been said Sam has moved on too. According to The Sun, Sam has “grown close” to Love Island 2023 and All Stars Islander, Samie Elishi! They have apparently been “flirty messaging” after following each other on Instagram.

A source said: “Sam found the split and its public fall-out very hard but Samie has put a smile back on his face. She is a stunning girl and he’s told a few pals about her. He seems excited.” The source added: “Obviously it’s early days, but clearly he has a thing for Love Islanders!”.

On New Year’s Day, it was reported Sam and Zara had ended things. An insider told MailOnline: “Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other. But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025.”

However, a further source said it was because of their 2020 cheating scandal, and Zara and Sam had never got over it. “Zara and Sam’s relationship just never had felt like it was heading for the long haul. They never really recovered from Zara’s cheating, most couples would have struggled lasting for as long as they did afterwards,” they said.

At least there seems to have been a happy ending for them both!
