How to do the vibey AI Ceiling Fan trend from TikTok where your outfit changes

Another new AI trend has gone viral on TikTok this week and this time, people are making it look like they’re lying under a ceiling fan in different outfits. It’s rogue, but honestly, really vibey. 

It comes right after the Hotel Lobby trend took over last week, where people were putting all kinds of characters and celebrities from Shrek to Barack Obama into Quavo and Takeoff’s Hotel Lobby rap video. 

Now, things have already moved on. The AI ceiling fan trend makes it look like you’re lying on the floor with a wooden fan swirling above you. Every time the fan’s blade passes you, your outfit changes.

Some people are attempting to do the trend without AI by taping their phone to the ceiling, lying underneath it in multiple different outfits and editing all the clips together, but that is a lot of effort. 

Props to anyone who has time for that, but if you can’t be bothered, you can just use AI instead. It looks so real that some people didn’t even realise it was AI, and here’s exactly how to do it.

Here’s how to do the AI Ceiling Fan trend from TikTok

To do the trend, all you have to do is open a website called Pixazo AI and find their Fan Transition Trend template. You can head straight to it here. Then, upload a clear photo of yourself and tap “generate fan transition”. You will be asked to make an account, but it’s free to do. Then, the website will do the rest of the work for you, and all you need to do is upload it to TikTok. 

If you do want to have a go at doing it without AI, stick your phone to the ceiling above your fan and keep filming the same shot lying underneath it over and over again, with a different outfit on each time. Then, use a video editing tool like CapCut to edit the clips together so the outfit changes when the blade swipes over you. You can also lie on the floor and edit a stock video of a fan over the top.
