Alfie Deyes just confirmed he and Zoe Sugg will be returning to YouTube at some point

Guys, this is not a drill – Alfie Deyes just confirmed that he and Zoe Sugg aka Zoella will be returning to YouTube at some point and they’re not retired forever. Finally!

Zoe suddenly disappeared from the internet on 1st January without a word, and it’s now been eight months since we’ve heard anything from her. Alfie has shared a few posts on Instagram, but they’re scarce. 

Everything was normal during December with their usual Vlogmas videos, and Zoe then posted a dump of pics from the festive period on New Year’s Day. After that, things went silent.

We’ve had a few signs that they’re alive and well, including the fact that they’re building a donkey sanctuary near their home, which has majorly upset the neighbours. So rogue! But no updates actually from them… until now. 

The confirmation that Zoe and Alfie haven’t stopped vlogging forever came on Vinted of all places. A woman called Stacey noticed that Alfie was selling a load of his cameras and thought that meant they’d packed up vlogging for good.

She messaged Alfie asking, “Nooooo, does this mean you’re officially coming back?” and obviously wasn’t expecting a reply. But Alfie did reply! 

“We don’t film on Sony don’t worry. We shoot Canon,” he said. So, that means the cameras he’s selling are just old ones or spares, and they still have all their vlogging cameras.

Alfie didn’t hint at any kind of date, but honestly, this is the first bit of concrete evidence we have that they will be coming back… one day at least. 

The woman who messaged Alfie shared screenshots of the exact conversation on TikTok as proof and said: “Couldn’t help but message him not expecting a reply. I’m hopeful for a Vlogmas comeback?”

“Really out here doing God’s work,” someone replied. Another agreed: “Thank you for your service.”

Alfie has hidden his Vinted profile now, probably because he was getting absolutely bombarded with messages. But we’ve got what we needed. They haven’t retired for good. A Halloween TKMaxx trip vlog is coming. I can feel it.
