Love Island 2017 villain claims he’s been ‘banned’ from the UK and ‘can’t ever return’
He said his passport has been taken away
Love Island villain Sam Gowland, who was on season three of the show in 2017, has claimed he’s been banned from the UK and can never return to his home country.
The 29-year-old is currently living between Dubai and Bali, and claimed he was stopped by authorities at the border when he tried to return to England in March.
Speaking on TikTok, he said: “I’m now officially not allowed back in England ever again. All because of the nasty comments I said about it [the country] online.”
“Obviously, you seen the other day that I got stopped at border control where they kept me in there for three days and my passport I had to relinquish in their words.”
He claimed his passport was taken from him and he’s “never allowed to return to England ever again”.
“So that’s that, it’s been a pleasure. So I’ve now arrived back to my home, or one of my homes in Dubai, maybe it’s a blessing in disguise,” Sam continued.

On 23rd March, the ex-Islander claimed he’d been stopped at the border for “slagging” the country off online. He shared multiple videos calling England “broken” and slamming the government.
“Whoever has reported me to border control, I hope you’re proud because now I’m stuck in the room awaiting a decision to see if I’m allowed back in England again,” he said.
You can’t get banned from a country for speaking negatively about it online, and everyone is convinced he made the whole thing up for views.
“They can’t just stop a British citizen entering the country, you’d be arrested if you’d done something wrong,” one person commented.

“Also if they’ve got your passport, how did you get back to Dubai?” a third person added.
Someone else said: “File this under things that never happened.”
Sam hasn’t responded to any of the comments, but I think his sarcastic tone and lack of seriousness about the whole thing proves it must be a joke.
