December was clearly the month of romance for Love Islanders because four of them got engaged!
Yes, four different ex-Islanders all got engaged within days of each other, which is a bit of a weird coincidence.
None of them popped the question to the person they left the villa with either – they all have new partners.
Here are all of the new Love Island couples that went into 2025 as fiancés.
Josh Denzel
While away in the Swiss Alps, Josh Denzel popped the question to his girlfriend Ruby Wong. He was on the show in 2018 and famously dated Kaz, who is about to go on All Stars. Josh shared the happy news on Instagram, writing: “My love, every day with you is a gift, and I’m so blessed to spend the rest of my life by your side. You are my rock, my guide, and my heart. And now, you’re my fiancé. I love you always.”
Sam Gowland
Sam Gowland, who was on the show in 2017, also got down on one knee over the Christmas period. He asked his girlfriend Scarlett Rae to marry him while on holiday in Dubai and gushed on Instagram: “Yesterday, today, tomorrow, I’d always choose you. Here’s to forever.”
Rosie Williams
The third Love Islander who got engaged in December is Rosie Williams, whose partner Sam Tankard asked her to marry him on a luxury holiday in the Maldives. She was in the villa in 2018 and famously clashed with Adam Collard, but left Majorca single.
Mike Boateng
Most Read
Mike Boateng, who met Priscilla Anyabu on Love Island in 2020, also got down on one knee. His mystery girlfriend doesn’t appear to be in the limelight, but he shared pictures of her and wrote a bible verse on Instagram: “Commit to the lord whatever you do and he will establish your plans.”
Love must have been in the air in December. Congratulations to all the happy couples!
