Messy Mitch from Love Island is starting beef with an ex Islander right before All Stars

Just when you think Messy Mitch had given it a rest, he’s back and he’s starting beef with another Love Islander right before All Stars kicks off. And as per usual with Mitch, he has not minced his words and says if this particular lad goes into the villa this year on Love Island All Stars then he will be putting him on blast on Snapchat. It feels rogue, but fair play – and the Islander Mitch is starting beef with right before Love Island All Stars is none other than last year’s big celeb entry Joey Essex.

In a recent interview discussing his career, Mitch went into his time on All Stars and the rules he broke before he went in there. But most interestingly, he aired his frustrations with Love Island’s divisive decision to put a big TV name like Joey Essex into the mainline franchise of Love Island last year.

“I’ll be talking crap about Joey Essex on my Snapchat if he goes in,” Mitch ranted. “I’ll be disappointed with the production team if they put him in. As much as Joey is a great character, and plays his character well – he’s fantastic TV – but Love Island, isn’t about celebrities. When he first went on, I was like fair enough, but I felt bad for the other contestants because it was very much the Joey show.”

“I think it’ll kill the show if Joey goes back into Love Island, because it’s the general public who are being made famous and Joey Essex is already a celebrity. So I don’t know why they’d do it. It’s like sticking Ronaldo in Port Vale’s team or something. It would be just be made all about him.”

“I heard rumours that Joey might be going back in, and I’d probably put my savings on it and bet that he does. And he is a hard worker, so he’ll last the five weeks. But I don’t think he’ll win, because he doesn’t want a girlfriend out of it.”

I personally haven’t heard any rumours about Joey Essex going in the villa this year, but I kind of want him to head into Love Island All Stars now just for Mitch to crack on with this promised beef.
