All the gut-wrenching tributes to The Vivienne from the alumni of RuPaul’s Drag Race
Baga Chipz, Michelle Visage, and many more have posted statements
The queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race have come out in force to share tributes to The Vivienne whose sad passing was announced by her publicist on Monday.
She came, she saw, and she conquered the mainstage of Drag Race UK’s inaugural season. But she didn’t stop there, making bank and cracking jokes across shows such as Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Juice, Emmerdale, That’s My Jam, and The View. The Vivienne might be gone, but the glittery mark she left on the world will remain forever.
After Vivienne’s ex-husband issued a statement, tributes from the former queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race have begun to pour in.
What did The Vivienne’s season one sisters say?
The Vivienne competed (and won) the very first season of Drag Race UK, not only highlighting her own skill but proving the UK queens can give as much as those in the US.
After hearing the news, her season one bestie Baga Chipz posted a massive tribute alongside a dozen pictures, writing: “Always there for me when I needed you. My beautiful boy. My James. Our Viv. You taught me the true meaning of sisterhood but more importantly, you taught me how to do a cut crease. I’m sending all my love to your mama and family, me and the girls will always be there for them. I’m gonna bloody miss you friend.”
