Brakes failure: Lorry careers onto The Paddock
Oh the irony
An ironic Brakes catering lorry has crashed on the Paddock Pitch near Faraday.
The lorry attempted a “disastrous three point turn”, which left it buried in mud.
Currently, the driver is filling in forms to accept full responsibility for the incident. Another lorry arrived to take away the food that was in the back of the buried lorry.
The winch truck is due to come out but could cost in excess of £800 according to Campus Security.
The pitch is “ruined” and the repairs will “cost” the university a lot to repair.
