Everything Leo Woodall has been up to since One Day catapulted him to it-boy status

It’s been exactly a month since One Day was released on Netflix and broke our hearts whilst simultaneously catapulting Leo Woodall firmly to it-boy status. Before One Day he obviously played cheeky Essex boy Jack in The White Lotus, but what has he been doing since the whole world started simping over him? This is everything Leo Woodall has been up to since the release of One Day:

Posting all the adorable behind the scenes pics

As if we weren’t blessed enough with the show itself, Leo had to go and share a load of behind the scenes pictures and videos from the set of One Day and it genuinely just made you want to be in the show yourself.

Posting on Instagram, he said: “Some One Day BTS that I can’t take any credit for 🫶” King! The top comment is from his girlfriend and fellow The White Lotus actress Meghann Fahy who said: “I’ll say it again Leo for president” and I couldn’t agree more. The pics include cute shots of him and Ambika looking very in love, behind-the-scenes shots of the uni party in the very first episode and one of him looking very baby girl on a rocking horse.

Skrrting around on a Lime Bike

In a video interview with British Vogue, he did a day in the life where they followed him around playing pool, going to work drinking Guinness at the pub and probably the highlight of the whole thing him riding around London on a Lime Bike and getting severe road rage.

Landing an Apple TV show

After the success of One Day, Leo has landed the role in another big show, Prime Target on Apple TV alongside Quinessa Swindell who played Anna in Euphoria. Created by Sherlock and Vienna Blood writer, Steve Thompson, Prime Target’s synopsis reads: “Prime Target features a brilliant young math postgraduate, Edward Brooks (played by Woodall), on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world.

“Soon he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders, a female NSA agent (played by Swindell) who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on the mathematician’s behaviour. Together they start to unravel the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.” Very different vibes to One Day.

In utterly devastating news, Leo Woodall hard launched with his girlfriend and fellow The White Lotus star Meghann Fahy. There have been romance rumours between the two of them for months after they met filming The White Lotus but they finally hard launched their relationship after the release of One Day.

Posting on her Instagram, Meghann shared a picture of the two of them from behind and with their arms around each other. Our girlie saw everyone simping over him and needed to claim her territory! They were also papped kissing in the rain in New York recently. Why can that not be me right now?

Moving over to movies

With both of Leo Woodall’s main roles being in TV (The White Lotus and One Day) Leo has also been confirmed for two new movies, Nomad and A Waiter in Paris. Nomad wrapped this week and apparently “follows a mysterious loner (Leo) with a bizarre condition that takes him inexplicable to the ends of the earth.” A Waiter in Paris is an adaptation of a popular memoir and he’s secured the leading role. Neither films have release dates yet. Glad we’re getting more Leo content in the next year I can’t lie.

Getting outed as a bit of a nepo baby

Everyone kinda lost it when they learned that Leo Woodall is actually a bit of a nepo baby. His mum went to drama school, where she met his dad – Andrew Woodall. Andrew Woodall is a successful actor and his stepfather Alexander Morton is another actor, who’s starred in Taggart, Second Sight and Monarch of the Glen. Madness! But most importantly, Leo Woodall’s great-great-great-great-grandmother is Maxine Elliott – a huge star of silent movies and a theatre owner.

Speaking on what his family might think of his acting career, Leo Woodall told the Guardian “I’ve always felt this personal pressure to make it. And they’ve always been wonderful and supportive. It’s definitely an approval thing. It’s nothing to do with how they are. It’s completely self-inflicted. And that’s OK, I suppose. It’s a motivator.”

Spilling all the filming secrets from One Day

As well as revealing his favourite line from the show and sharing how filming up Arthur’s Seat was a “horrible experience” because he had food poisoning, Leo has done many an interview since the show was released. He also called Dex “a tit” so, you know, good for him.
