This is how old all the candidates of this year’s The Apprentice are
They’re being compared to Love Island contestants because they’re so young and fun
The Apprentice is finally back after well over two years since the last series in 2019. And already the 2022 cast is being compared to Love Island contestants because they actually have fun in their spare time, post bikini pictures on Instagram and their ages are some of the youngest The Apprentice has ever seen.
So ahead of seeing them all get down to business in the boardroom and inevitably make fools of themselves in public on the tasks – here are all the ages of the candidates taking part in The Apprentice 2022.
Aaron is 38 and from Chorley. He served in the RAF for 12 years as a flight operations instructor and wants to start his own security business.
28-year-old Akshay is from London. He owns a digital marketing agency and says sleep is a “waste of time” and his first word as a baby was “profit”. “My friends call me AK47 because I’m a killer salesperson”, he says. Cool.
29-year-old Akeem is a strategy manager for a financial firm in London. He says he is both a people person and a numbers guy.
Brittany is 25 and from Bristol. She describes herself as kind, sociable and enthusiastic and currently works as a hotel front of house manager. She wants to launch the first alcoholic protein drink – I’m not sure why, either. Brittany is the youngest of all the candidates this year.
Shama is 41 and owns a children’s day nursery. She is from Bradford and says she wants “to be a living example for the Asian women and South Asian women out there.”
28-year-old Conor is from London and is a sales executive and former professional rugby player. He says: “I’m going to be the corporate panther in the boardroom, I’m going to get it done, and I’m going to be Lord Sugar’s perfect business partner.” His business idea is based around quirky food and drink stalls hireable for events.
Francesca Kennedy Wallbank
Francesca is another of the younger contestants this year, aged 26. The maths graduate is from Surrey and owns a sustainability company. Her business idea provides a product carbon footprint service for businesses.
Kathryn Louise Burn
Kathryn owns an online pyjama store. She’s 29 and from Swindon and describes herself as both ambitious and savage.
Navid, aged 27, is from London and is a pharmacist. He is “quirky and unique” and a Nicki Minaj superfan. I think that’s all we need to know. Winner material right here.
Harpreet is 30 and from West Yorkshire. She owns a dessert parlour which is already a successful, six-figure coffee and cakes business, that she has plans to make a leading brand in the UK.
Alex is the owner of a commercial cleaning company. He’s 27 and from Hertford. “I would compare myself to a Ferrari – shiny on the outside but under the bonnet there is a lot of fire, and I’m coming for you,” he says.
48-year-old Amy says: “I can be nice when I need to be, but when I unfortunately have to be a bitch, I will.” She’s a beauty brand owner from London and has previously worked in sales and showbiz. Amy is the eldest of all The Apprentice 2022 candidates.
Harry is from the West Midlands and is 35-years-old. The regional operations manager is the self-described “Asian Lord Sugar” and wants investment in his bath bomb business. He says he hopes he and Lord Sugar can become “the bad boys of the bath bomb world.”
Stephanie is 28 and from Kent. She owns an online children’s store which she hopes to develop with Lord Sugar. She describes herself as confident, decisive and brutally honest.
31-year-old Nick is a finance manager. He’s London based and is looking to get an investment to help his flavoured water business idea become a leader in the drinks industry. “I’m a bit of an animal in the boardroom,” he says.
32-year-old Sophie from Cheltenham says winning is “part of my DNA”. The saleswoman owns a boutique cocktail bar which she has big plans for. She also says she has qualifications from witch school??? Um????
The Apprentice begins at 9pm on January 6th on BBC One. Episodes will also be available on iPlayer.
