These are the top 20 richest Brits under 30, according to The Sunday Times Rich List

The richest is a billionaire Newcastle grad who is currently single 👀


The Sunday Times young rich list is out and reveals the 50 richest people in Britain under 30 and wow they are rolling in it.Plenty of celebs from actors, footballers and musicians are featured on the list as well as members of nobility and business owners.

Amongst the top 50 is Dua Lipa who has a fortune of £36million, but this only places her at number 22 as there are many more above her that are earning billions. The other celebs who haven’t made the top 20 but are pretty rich are Cara Delevingne, Stormzy, Rita Ora and Zayn Malik (awks that the rest of his ex band members are in the top 20).

The top 20 features a number of new entries who have managed to make millions during the pandemic. There’s also Harry Styles and graduates from unis such as Exeter, Manchester and Newcastle. In fact the guy at number one is a billionaire Newcastle graduate who is currently single…👀.

These are the top 20 richest Brits under 30 according to the Sunday Times rich list:

20. Abe Simpson – £41million

Kicking off the top 20 richest is Exeter grad Abe Simpson who has made his fortune from property development at Kingsley Developments.

Liam Payne is the first of the ex One Direction band members to make the list. He’s had no change in his wealth in the last year and the majority of his money will have come from all his music success and not his cringe TikTok videos.

=18. Kevin de Bruyne – £44million

Tied with Liam at number 18 is 29-year-old Manchester City football player Kevin de Bruyne who has had an increase of £10million in the last year.

Louis has just £1million more than his ex band mate Liam at £45million which he will have made from his time in One Direction and his time as a judge on X Factor.

=16. David de Gea – £45million

Another footballer in the top 20 is Manchester United player David de Gea who has managed to increase his net worth by £11million in the last year.

The least problematic and most wholesome member of One Direction, Niall Horan, has an impressive net worth of £52 million and in the last year has managed to add £2million to that. Which is far more than Liam and Louis whose wealth has not changed in the last year.

Little Mix are having the best year possible. Two of them are pregnant, they’re winning Brit awards and having the coolest drag queens in their music videos. If that wasn’t enough they’re also millionaires with a combined net worth of £54million, which is £6million up from last year.

They’ll have made their fortune from their incredible music, but also their many independent projects outside the band. Leigh-Anne is going to be in a movie and has also created her own swimwear brand. Jade has released ranges with Skinnydip and opened her own bar. And Perrie is the face of Superga and is a brand ambassador for Supreme Nutrition.

13. Charlie Wilson – £56million

Property developer Charlie Wilson has an impressive net worth of £56million, more than £20million up from where he was last year.

And clearly the money is impressing lots of people as Charlie is said to have dated Ferne McCann and even flew her to Cannes in a private jet for her 30th birthday last year.

12. Paul Pogba – £64million

Another Manchester United football player on the young rich list is Paul Pogba who has increased his worth by £11million in the last year.

11. Taylor Flynn – £68million

A new entry on the young rich list is Taylor Flynn who is a Glasgow Caledonian University graduate and has made his fortune from financial services at Creditfix.

Kicking off the top 10 is everyone’s favourite One Direction member Harry Styles whose fortune has gone up by £10million in the last year.

Though a lot of Harry’s wealth comes from his One Direction days, he also has been making loads of money from his solo career. Last year Watermelon Sugar was streamed more than a billion times on Spotify.

He’s also made money from his partnership with Gucci and his tour company, which made nearly £18million in profits in 2018.

9. Lewis Morgan – £147million

A new entry for this year’s list is 28-year-old Lewis Morgan who co-founded Gymshark whilst he was still at uni in Birmingham.

Lewis has now stepped back from the company but that hasn’t stopped him from gaining an impressive net worth of near £150million.

8. Melanie and Dan Marsden – £200million

Another new entry on the list is Cardiff grad Melanie Marsden and her husband Dan who set up every influencer’s favourite lingerie brand Lounge Underwear.

They began the company at 23 years old and now five years later they’re millionaires.

7. Ed Sheeran – £220million

Ed Sheeran is always on every young rich list going and this year he’s managed to increase his fortune by £20million.

All of his wealth has come from sell out albums and massive tours.

6. Ben Francis – £700million

Ben Francis is the other co-founder of Gymshark and initially launched the brand eight years ago from his parents’ garage and is now a certified millionaire.

5. India Rose James and family – £721million

India Rose James along with her sister Fawn have a giant fortune from property around the world. Whilst the majority of it is based in London, they also have property in the UAE and Norfolk.

They’ve developed sites around Soho and India has opened an art gallery.

4. Jack Sullivan and family – £1.04billion

The first of the billionaires on The Sunday Times young rich list is Jack Sullivan. Jack was only 17 years old when he was signed as the managing director of West Ham’s women’s football team, a position he has recently given up.

3. Johnny Boufarhat – £1.446billion

Johnny Boufarhat has essentially become a billionaire over night when he launched his online events platform Hopin during March last year.

Johnny is a Manchester uni graduate and only began his company in 2018 after battling an autoimmune disease.

2. Lady Charlotte Wellesley – £2.4billion

In second place on the rich list is socialite Lady Charlotte Wellesley who is an Oxford graduate. Her mother is a literal princess and she’s married to a billionaire so it makes complete sense she’s incredibly wealthy.

1. The Duke of Westminster – £10.054billion

The Duke of Westminster is a Newcastle graduate who was the youngest billionaire in Britain at 25 years old when his father died in 2016, leaving him an insane fortune.

The Duke, or Hughie as he’s known to his mates, oversees his family’s extensive property portfolio which includes 300 acres of Mayfair and Belgravia and land in 60 cities across the globe.

He’s Prince George’s god father and is still currently single, if you’re into billionaires.
