Prince William is the latest posh boy to shave his head

Over the past few months hordes of middle-class boys have flocked to their barbers and instead of asking for a one on the sides and a quick trim of their floppy locks, they've decided to their heads shaved instead.

This is proof, that it's not just the edgy art school types who compliment their baldness with one of those ridiculously small beanies. Theos and Barnarbys from leafy suburbs across the country are returning home to shock their mothers with a football ultras buzzcut.

As it turns out, not even being a member of the royal family will protect you from succumbing to the latest trend, as the latest well brought up young man to jump on the bandwagon is none other than Prince William.

However, it's unlikely we'll see Wills hanging outside Motion in a North Face puffer smoking a rollie any time soon, but we can always live in hope.

Was he inspired by Bieber or Zayn Malik? Maybe Kate made a throwaway comment that Jamie Laing had been looking fit recently and Wills took this as an opportunity to reignite their relationship after a very OTT wedding and two kids.

As much as we'd like to believe that he's just another vibesy Hugo, unfortunately, it's more likely the decision was made to save him from the indignation of slowly going bald.
