  • Emma is currently the Editor-in-Chief for The Lancaster Tab. She manages a team of writers covering news, experiences, and events in the Lancaster area. Emma writes and edits a variety of articles as and when needed.
  • Emma enjoys observing the political landscapes of both national and local politics. Additionally, she enjoys analysis of current affairs from all areas of the political spectrum.
  • In her spare time, Emma likes to read, with her particular favourites being modern classics and political discussions. She enjoys music, loving to play guitar and listen to music. She also has a passion for art, particularly enjoying sketching buildings, experiences, and landscapes.

Experience

Emma joined The Tab in October 2024 as a writer. She quickly became the Editor-in-Chief of the Lancaster Tab in May 2025 and currently coordinates a team of 35 writers. She has enjoyed writing experience pieces on unconventional societies as well as general news in the Lancaster area.

Education

Emma is currently in her second year at Lancaster University studying Politics. She is particularly interested in developmental politics and the political journalism of the United Kingdom.
