A new documentary about Lamar Odom has just dropped on Netflix and it’s got everyone wondering what his net worth is, so here’s a look at how rich the ex-NBA player really is.

Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom follows the life of the former athlete, who is known for marrying Khloé Kardashian after just one month, and delves into his near-fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel in 2015, after which he had 12 strokes and six heart attacks.

Lamar Odom’s net worth is absolutely huge

Lamar has a whopping net worth $20 million (£15 million) in 2026 according to Celebrity Net Worth, despite retiring from the NBA more than a decade ago, in the 2013/14 season.

Throughout his entire basketball career, which spanned a quarter of a century from 1999 to 2014, Odom raked in an absolutely staggering $115 million in total from his sports salary alone, HoopsHype reveals.

He spent most of his sports career doing long sints with the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers, but also had two brief appearances with the Miami Heat in 2003-04 and the Dallas Mavericks in 2011-12.

His highest annual salary was in the 2008-09 season when he earned an absolutely staggering $14 million while playing for the Lakers.

On top of that, he has earned millions of dollars from various endorsements and TV appearances over the years, doing brand deals and collaborations with huge companies, including Nike and Samsung.

He has a big interest in fashion too, and has launched various brands over the years. His long-running first brand Rich Soil Clothing has now closed, but Lamar launched a new unisex brand called Le Saint Noir in 2025, which debuted at New York Fashion Week.

Lamar might have put his NBA career behind him, but he’s still raking it in.
