Lily Allen finally reveals her relationship status after brutal divorce from David Harbour
She opened up
Lily Allen has finally confirmed her relationship status, and it sounds like she’s had enough of dating apps. The chart-topping singer has made her big return to music with West End Girl, her first album in seven years. The brutally honest record appears to unpack her four-year marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, covering everything from open marriages and alleged cheating to sex addiction.

Now, Lily’s opened up about her post-divorce dating life – and it’s just as chaotic as you’d expect. Talking to Interview Magazine, Lily confirmed she’s “not in a relationship” right now and described her experiences with online dating as nothing short of grim.
“They’re awful, especially if you’re going through heartbreak,” she said. “There is nothing more depressing than hundreds of people that are nothing like the person that you’re missing. It’s just like, ‘No, that’s not him. That’s not him. That’s not him’.”
Lily also revealed she has zero interest in dating another celebrity, but even regular dating hasn’t been easy — because she’s literally been banned from Hinge.
“They thought I was impersonating myself,” she explained. “I’m like: ‘I can prove that I’m that person.’ [Hinge are] like, ‘You’ll need to send us your ID.’ And I’m like: ‘Actually my name and the name on my ID aren’t the same.’”

Although she’s been kicked off Hinge, Lily’s still got Raya – the elite dating app favoured by celebs – on her phone. But for anyone hoping she’s seeing someone new, she made it clear: “I’m not in a relationship, but there are some people that I meet up with.”
In another recent interview with Perfect Magazine, Lily reflected on how much harder dating feels now she’s 40 and a mum to two teenage daughters.
“The dating scene is much harder as a 40-year-old woman with two teenage children than it is for a 34-year-old woman,” she said. “It’s bitterly disappointing. There’s an element of humiliation and shame around it. The world doesn’t portray women of my age as being desirable. And it just feels like climbing up a mountain.”
Lily might have the break-up album of the year, but it looks like the road to finding love again has been rough. David Harbour has not responded to her claims.
