Tom Holland shares future plans for wholesome life with Zendaya beyond Spider-Man movies
He has big plans for his Spider-Man earnings
We all know that Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged. But until recently, we knew virtually nothing about their relationship beyond that. The couple are both very, very private about their personal lives. But Tom Holland has emerged from hibernation in order to film a new Spider-Man movie and promote a Lego short film (yes, really) and he’s been dropping hits about his life beyond acting. Here’s what we’ve learned about Tom Holland and Zendaya’s future plans.
Tom Holland plans to wind down the acting work
He’s currently working on Spider-Man: Brand New Day and is pretty likely to show up in Avengers: Secret Wars (when that finally comes out). But Tom Holland doesn’t seem to have any fixed plans for more Spider-Man stuff beyond that.
He told Unilad: “I don’t know what the future of it looks like… in terms of, like, my future in the character beyond this film, I don’t know the answers to that question.”
Tom Holland aims to cut back on acting work if he and Zendaya have children. “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he told Men’s Health, “and I will just disappear off the face of the earth.” He would want to focus on his children and on golf.
Zendaya seems to still have plenty of projects in the pipeline. As well as her Marvel role, she’s set to appear in The Odyssey, Dune: Part Three, Shrek 5, more Euphoria, and projects called The Drama and Be My Baby.
They’re definitely, definitely keen to have kids

Tom Holland told People: “I love kids. I can’t wait to be a dad — I can wait and I will, but I can’t wait! If I’m at a wedding or a party, I’m always at the kids’ table hanging out. My dad’s been such a great role model for me. I think I’ve got that from him.”
Apparently, if his acting career hadn’t taken off, he would have become a primary school teacher. Nawwww.
Tom Holland has lots of ideas for charity work
Tom, his parents and his three brothers already run a charity called The Brothers Trust. The organisation makes grants to lesser-known charities “the world over to reflect Tom’s broad fanbase”. The Brothers Trust organises events involving Tom Holland in order to raise funds, and also “to create memorable and distracting experiences for children suffering with overwhelming physical and mental hardships.”

Tom Holland’s “lifelong goal” is for the Brothers Trust to start up a whole school. He explained to Ladbible: “I have an end goal of what I’d like to do, which is essentially that I’d like to build a school with the best facilities that any school in London can offer, but is totally free and rivals any private school in the country.”
Tom Holland’s school would be aimed at children from families who “might not be able to afford” the eye-watering fees at UK private schools.
As lovely as this idea is, it might be a bit of a challenge to achieve. He has an estimated net worth of $25 million (£18.6 million), and his fiancée (eek!) Zendaya is reportedly sitting on about $30 million (£22.4 million). Obviously, these are huge amounts of money. But Eton College – which is probably the most famous UK private school – had a total expenditure of £111.05 million in the 2023 to 2024 school year. The Brothers Trust would need rather a lot of donations to match that.
His family has spoken a lot about the differences between UK private and state schools. Tom Holland was diagnosed with dyslexia when he was seven. His mother worried he wouldn’t get enough support at a state school, so transferred him to the private Donhead Preparatory School in Wimbledon. Tom’s dad, the comedian Dominic Holland, wrote a blog post about how getting “the necessary attention” for Tom’s dyslexia cost “a fortune”.
