Jacqui revealed her ‘rap sheet’ listing every way she felt Ryan wronged her on MAFS Aus

She was not impressed by the ‘crazy eyes’ comments

In a very dramatic episode of MAFS Australia, Jacqui wrote a list of all the thing she felt Ryan had done wrong so far in their relationship. She wanted him to read it so “he can learn in this experiment and he can have the opportunity to take accountability”.

On MAFS Australia, we saw Jacqui read out how upset she was when Ryan dropped her mid-dance on their wedding day. But it turns out the rap sheet letter was way, way longer than what we saw on TV. Jacqui sent the rest of the letter to the host of the So Dramatic! podcast, who read it out.

For context, Ryan made a joke on the honeymoon about his arms getting girls pregnant. Jacqui did not find this funny. She brought this comment up later in a commitment ceremony, claiming the joke alluded to sexual assault, and the producers cut filming for a while.

Ryan has claimed his comment was just a joke, and had been well-received by other cast members.

Jacqui’s letter to Ryan discussed this deleted joke at length. The rap sheet read: “The joke ‘these big arms get women pregnant’ is not funny.” She listed four reasons why she did not find the joke funny, including that the comment “reduces women to mere objects for sexual purposes”, was “reinforcing harmful stereotypes” about women, “trivialises” pregnancy, and “promotes a toxic version of masculinity that many find unappealing.”

The letter continued: “Then came the living conditions. I felt like you gave the scraps of your comfort and didn’t really consider me.

“On your sense of humour, I need you to never comment or joke or adopt a joke about a woman’s appearance again. I need you to know that when I call myself ‘crazy eyes’, it’s a self-deprecating coping mechanism. When you do it, it’s not nice. The reason why you shouldn’t comment on a woman’s appearance in a negative tone is the same reason why you shouldn’t insult a man by saying he’s got a small peepee. It’s objectification. It’s mean and hurtful.

“I’d love you to make more self-deprecating jokes about yourself. I’d also love you to develop a new sense of humour called wit. One solution is you can do this by researching it online.”

Damn, what a line.

Ryan has denied many of Jacqui’s claims about their time together on MAFS Australia. He has called her a “liar” and “manipulative”.
