MAFS’ Adrian might wanna rethink his tattoo meaning after those icky commitment ceremony lines

MAFS Australia’s Adrian Araouzou recently shared the meaning of his hand tattoo, but following his doubling down on his treatment of wife Awhina Rutene, he might want to rethink the deep meaning or heed its lesson a little harder.

In Monday night’s explosive commitment ceremony, Awhina should have noticed the glaring red flags because Adrian was basically waving them around like he was trying to land a plane. He refused to take any accountability for his words and actions, and despite a best effort from expert John Aiken, he was very much the same Adrian at the end of the episode.

For that reason, Adrian might want to book himself a tattoo appointment to get this ink covered up.

After someone questioned whether his hand tattoo is in Greek, Adrian posted a TikTok explaining the meaning behind his ink and how it’s served as a reminder to watch what leaves his mouth.

“That tattoo on my hand says grateful [in Greek], and that’s one and three, my birthday which are also love numbers,” he said. “But let me explain more.”

Just before Adrian got the hand tattoo, someone told him that “Your words are your wand”, which is essentially a fancy way of saying don’t be a d**k with what leaves your mouth.

“You have to be careful how you speak, and that’s what it’s always important to remember to be grateful and thankful,” he added.

So, just to backtrack a bit, was Adrian being grateful and thoughtful when he refused to write Awhina a letter? Was he being thankful when he outright ignored John’s advice during the commitment ceremony? What about when Adrian was looking at the roof during Awhina’s emotional monologue – was he being mindful then? I mean, he literally admitted to not supporting his wife during that week, so make it make sense.

Even when he revealed he was staying in the experiment, he had to throw in one final joke (jab) by saying, “I didn’t know how to spell leave.”

It now seems that some words are just that, words, so maybe don’t get them tattooed on your body unless it’s something you ACTUALLY live your life by.
