All of these Islanders were meant to be All Stars bombshells, but dropped out last minute

We’ve been robbed!

It turns out we were meant to have a bunch of iconic Love Island All Stars bombshells, but many of them have dropped out last minute. Despite being keen to return to the show, some made it all the way to South Africa, before deciding they didn’t actually want to do it. Brutal.

Every year, there are loads of rumoured bombshells for the villa. All Stars is just the same. Even now there are loads of names being thrown around. Some Islanders have since confirmed they were in talks for the show, but have opted against it. Here’s who was meant to be a Love Island All Stars bombshell this year, and what they’ve said about why they dropped out.

Lucinda Strafford

2021 legend Lucinda Strafford was meant to be entering All Stars any day soon. She literally got as far as flying out and being in the holding villa in South Africa, before pulling out. “It’s just not my season to go on guys,” she said in a post.

Scott van-der-Sluis

Scott must truly be obsessed with Love Island, because he was meant to be back AGAIN. He was only first on Love Island in 2023, but since then he’s done Love Island USA and Love Island Games.

Speaking on his Snapchat story, Scott said: “I was going to do [All Stars]. I pulled out two days before the show started for various reasons. I sat down with my family and there was quite a few reasons why I decided to go against it.”

He added he’d previously been in touch with Luca about going on the show again. But then Luca gave up his phone ahead of entering the villa. “He is still expecting me to go in,” Scott said. Poor Luca!

Anna Vakili

2019’s Anna also declined the offer of going back for All Stars, and for a very fair reason. Confirming on her podcast she had been approached, Anna said: “I don’t really see it as an opportunity. I look at previous Love Island All Stars, and I don’t think it did anything for any of them

“In terms of me finding someone on there, it’s very, very slim. The kind of man I want to settle down with wouldn’t really want a woman that’s going on Love Island. I feel that’s such a f*cked up thing to say but that’s the truth.”

Matilda Draper

Matilda was in the Love Island 2024 villa, alongside All Stars girls Harriett and Grace. She left the show with Sean, but they broke up not long later. It’s been reported she was approached to come back to the villa too, but she turned it down when she got with her new boyfriend. She’s now dating TOWIE’s Roman Hackett.
