Right, so how did Thanos manage to smuggle in *that* necklace in Squid Game season two?

Make it make sense

Right, I think at this point we’ve established that if something, even if it’s a tiny detail, is included in season two of Squid Game it’s for a reason and the same theory applies to Thanos and his holy cross of drugs.

We first see Thanos busting open his cross necklace filled with drugs during Red Light Green Light, as moments after he sees another player being murdered in front of him he slowly reaches for his drugs to calm his nerves. But how exactly did he even get the drugs and necklace into the games, to begin with?

As we can see with Gi-hun’s tracking device being removed and Player 149’s medical supplies being prohibited, it seems odd that Thanos would have been able to smuggle his drugs past security. So, let’s get to the bottom of how exactly Thanos manages to smuggle his cross full of drugs into Squid Game season two.

Well, at the moment one of the most likely theories seems to be that the Squid Game organisers actually deliberately let Thanos take his drugs in to keep the games entertaining for the VIPs.

This would also explain why Player 149 was also allowed to bring her secret knife disguised as a hairpin into the games, as they might have thought the addition of a weapon would cause more carnage and gory deaths.

The organisers might have hoped that Thanos’ erratic behaviour by being on drugs would lead to more strange behaviour and therefore more entertainment, and I won’t lie it certainly set his character apart.

Whilst it could just be a plot hole it seems more likely to me that the organisers let contestants bring items into the games which they think might provide more entertainment and chaos.
