This secret I’m A Celeb rule means the campmates might not actually get paid?!
Their paycheck comes on one condition
Celebrities are obviously swayed to do I’m A Celeb by the massive paycheck they are promised, but did you know their pay isn’t guaranteed?!
Aitch is set to earn the most this year for his stint in camp at £250k. However, there is a strict rule in place which says the celebrities must stay in the jungle for a specific amount of time before getting any of the cash.
Numerous reports claim that campmates need to stay in camp for 72 hours, which is three days, before they are guaranteed to get the money.

In 2014, Gemma Collins famously walked out of the jungle after exactly 72 hours, and people are convinced she did this on purpose to get her pay check. The TOWIE legend didn’t expect the experience to actually be so hard and joked at the time: “People who murder get treated better than this.”
That means any celebrities who left before the three-day mark wouldn’t have got paid, like Olivia Attwood who was forced to leave on medical grounds.

None of the 2025 cast have hinted they’re going to walk out, so they should all be getting paid, but there’s still time for a shock exit.
A source told The Sun: “Aitch is a very savvy negotiator and very wealthy in his own right already, but I know he is looking to become more mainstream as he gets older, and this will be a good vehicle for him.”

The lowest paid this year is Eddie Kadi at £75k. An insider said: “Eddie isn’t as big a name as some of his camp mates, so he didn’t command as high a fee, but after his time in the jungle, his worth is set to shoot up as he’ll likely go far in there.”
Some other little-known I’m A Celeb rules say the celebrities are only allowed to take three pairs of underwear and can’t speak to any former campmates.
